Watching a lesson and completing its exercise are different tasks. Schedule time for both. Keep a record of what you watched, what you attempted and what you need to ask before moving on.
Make distance feedback easier
Photograph your complete exercise and a close-up using steady lighting. Name the task and describe the difficulty. This gives your tutor context and avoids a long exchange about what the image is meant to show.
