The Process, Simplified

1. We begin by agreeing on a convenient start date for you, confirmed with a deposit.
2. Next, you embark on the online theory training, featuring over 6 hours of comprehensive video tutorials and 3 assignments to solidify your understanding.
3. Once you have paid the balance, the learning then transitions to a 4-day, in-person training, where all necessary equipment is provided. Better still, this is yours to keep post-course.
4. Following the in-person training, your journey continues with an additional 10 hours of online videos and assignments.
5. Upon completion, you’ll receive your well-earned certificates.

In a nutshell, it’s a balanced blend of self-paced online learning and hands-on in-person training, providing you with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in a convenient and effective manner.

Our syllabus is comprehensive, covering everything from equipment management to complex tattoo methodologies. Acquire proficiency in machine adjustment, needle placement, and setting up your workstation. We navigate you through three line-drawing and two shading techniques, coupled with hands-on sessions on blending inks, creating striking black artwork, black and grey shading, color work, bloodline tattoos, watercolor techniques, and more.

We advocate for well-rounded education, hence we integrate fascinating supplementary subjects into our course. Submerge yourself in the captivating history of tattoos, understand the subtleties of pricing, the art of tattoo photography, and designing bespoke tattoos. Grasp the fundamentals of studio registration, sterilization protocols, cross-contamination, handling blood-borne pathogens, and delve into tattoo removal techniques, covering-up existing tattoos, touch-ups, and re-inking.

Bloodborne pathogens (BBP) are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood; these and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) can cause disease.

We provide you with all the skills you will need and information about the equipment required for you to be compliant.

Covid-19 Protocols

Due to the current pandemic Covid-19 we will also teach you all the safety protocols and requirements needed for you to stay safe and keep your customers healthy and happy. We will also teach you about Blood-borne Pathogens and provide you with the certificate required to be able to do this procedure legally in South Africa.
